The Rahimi brothers took centre stage in Asia as Houssine and Soufiane inspired Al Ain to a remarkable 4-0 victory over Al Nassr, scoring three of their side’s four goals.
It was a night dominated by the Rahimi family. Houssine and Soufiane Rahimi delivered a devastating attacking display as Al Ain swept aside Al Nassr 4-0 in their AFC Champions League Elite opener.Houssine struck first in the 25th minute, capitalising on a defensive mistake before finishing through goalkeeper Nawaf Al Aqidi to put Al Ain ahead.
The younger Rahimi wasn't finished. In the 63rd minute, he combined with Al Ain’s attack before finding the net again to complete his brace and establish a commanding 2-0 advantage.

Nine minutes later, it was his older brother’s turn.
Soufiane Rahimi scored Al Ain’s third in the 72nd minute, meaning the Moroccan brothers had accounted for all three of Al Ain’s goals up to that point. Georgios Giakoumakis later completed the 4-0 victory with the fourth in the 85th minute.
Houssine was subsequently named Player of the Match after his two-goal performance.
The result was even more emotional given that the brothers had recently lost their father, Mohamed “Youaari” Rahimi. After the match, Houssine paid tribute to his parents and spoke about continuing the legacy of the Rahimi family.
From Casablanca and Raja to sharing one of Asian football’s biggest stages, the two brothers delivered a night to remember.
